More about me...

Hello, I’m Abby Lewtas, adventurer, life coach and blogger. Adventure and travel has been ingrained in me from an early age. Thanks to my parents I experienced my first overseas adventure at the tender age of 18 months. Sporting my swimsuit and funky hat, I was beach side on the coral coast of Fiji.

My parents believe in adventure and every year our family was lucky enough to travel away from the comforts of home. Cruising, caravaning or exploring the beautiful Australian coast, the Lewtas family loved going somewhere new.

I was also talented enough to embark on a sporting career that took me all over Australia and the World, competing at national and international competitions in a variety of different sports. Travelling with school trips to the United States, Olympic quests to North America and Europe, World Championships and backpacking in Europe, island hopping in the tropical Caribbean for adventure and leisure. With these adventures came incredible highs and unimaginable excitement as I journeyed into a world unknown to me.

What also came was the incredible crash back to reality when I returned home. Sometimes it got easier and sometimes it got harder. I never really knew what to expect.

Beach sprinting was my forte and in 2009 I was on track for one of the fastest seasons of my life when I ruptured my Achilles tendon, leaving me sidelined with a 7 month rehab regime. Soon after, I created radical change and I decided to ditch sport, work and my city life. Packing up my world, I bought a ticket to Buenos Aires and left my life, as I knew it, behind. I travelled through South America before landing in Canada where I lived for 3 years working as a Remedial Massage Therapist.

The adventures didn’t stop there. I experienced Canadian getaways, road tripping across the United States and backpacking tropical Central America just to name a few. Any hint of adventure, I would uncover.

In 2014 I returned to Australia, to a home I didn’t recognise anymore. My adventures had changed me and I couldn’t relate to so many people and so many things. The journey has been full of fun, laughter, meaning and connections. There have also been the hard times of loneliness, change, frustration and uncertainty. Although challenging, they have allowed me to grow, learn and see life from a different perspective.

Travel and adventure require courage, perseverance and a willingness to step outside your comfort zone. Exploring the world promotes personal growth, self-awareness and a new perspective. I work with wanderlusters and adventurers to help them find their purpose and harmony and lean into life back home.

I coach people to find energy and meaning and to

  • Hit the ground running in their life after a big adventure.
  • Create excitement in their days after seeing so much of the world.
  • Energize and invigorate their soul and feel grounded at home.

I help them to apply the same principles of exploring the world to their every day life. The biggest reward is seeing my clients living joyful, inspired and incredible lives. My clients are

  • Highly driven to achieve success.
  • Determined to create harmony.
  • Open minded.
  • Ready to face their fears; and
  • Willing to look at life with a different perspective.

I too am inspired by life and living it to its full potential in every area. My mission is to inspire others to do the same by challenging life and the status quo.
