Qualifying as a Remedial Massage Therapist in 2011 at the Australian College of Massage I have been practicing for the past 8 years. I first embarked on my massage career in Fernie, BC Canada, where I spent 3 years. During my stay in Canada I practiced at a ski resort, Heli-skiing lodge and various multi day mountain bike races.
Upon returning to Australia I treated alongside chiropractors and osteopaths offering deep tissue, sports and remedial massage on the Surfcoast. I have now returned to the mountains and has been practicing in Falls Creek and Mount Beauty for the past 3 years. I offer a range of massage treatments and am concerned with the physical demands placed upon people in their daily lives. My role as a therapist is to connect with clients, understand their concerns and help them achieve real results.
A holistic treatment for the whole body healing muscles and tendons that may be damaged, tense or immobile. Treating the discomfort throughout the whole body including the original cause. Remedial massage stimulates the circulatory system enabling the removal of impurities, calms the peripheral nervous system and relaxes the muscles, improving joint mobility.
A gentle, relaxing treatment with flowing movements to manipulate the superficial layers of the muscles. Swedish massage will improve mental and physical health and assist in softening and soothing the muscles and circulating blood through the entire body.
Traditional Chinese Cupping
Traditional Chinese medicine cupping is a suction method used to dispel stagnation of stagnant blood and lymph, thereby improving qi flow, in order to treat respiratory diseases such as the common cold, pneumonia and bronchitis. Cupping also is used on back, neck, shoulder and other musculoskeletal conditions.
