How travel teaches us to take a break.

Travel can show you the importance of taking a break as it allows you to see things from a different perspective. Go places you have never been which in turn can spark new ideas and a fresh zest for life.

Travelling can teach us how to take a break and a great lesson to apply to other areas of our life.

About this episode

The Wanderlusters Mind is back after an extended break. I took a trip to Nepal in July and had intentions to come back to the podcast as soon as I returned. However, this winter was a perfect time to take a break for me. With more on my plate and through the colder months, it was a chance for me to turn inwards rather than spending time on the podcast.

Travel can show you the importance of taking a break as it allows you to see things from a different perspective. Go places you have never been which in turn can spark new ideas and a fresh zest for life.

Having that break allows you to see what you are doing from a little bit of an outsiders perspective looking in.
— Abby Lewtas

In the episode...

  • How travel shows and teaches you how valuable it is to take a break.

  • It allows you to see things from a different perspective.

  • Travel gives you the chance to stop and slow down and reassess what is important at that time.

  • Taking a break can be applied to other areas of your life such as re-assessing projects that you are in the thick of.

  • Creating these spaces gives you the opportunity to look at the next steps in life, relationships, career or certain projects you are working on.
